# ClearFog GT-8K Enclosure Assembly Instructions

#### Assembly Instructions

1. Remove the fan from the heatsink by removing the 4 screws, then disconnect the fan

To remove the heatsink from the CPU it is required to heat it to \~60ºC. Use a hot air blower to heat the heatsink while trying to move it gently. Make sure not to heat the surrounding components on the board as they may fall off.

2\. Clean the adhesive residue from the component using a scrapper. Make sure the CPU top surface is clean.

3\. Place a thermal pad on the processor, make sure to take out the clear plastic protection cover. The recommended thermal pad thickness is 1mm.

4\. Disassemble the supplied enclosure:

a. Release the screws on the front and rear cover\
b. Open the take off the top cover from the base cove\
c. Unscrew the internal board mounting screws

5\. Install the board on the top cover – using the supplied screws. Tightening torque 0.3Nm.

6\. Place the bottom cover on the unit, then assemble the front panel and the rear panel – using the dedicated screws. Tightening torque 0.3Nm.
