Disabling Symmetric multithreading (SMT) / Hyperthreading

Go into BIOS

  • Turn on the Device

  • Repetitively press the DEL / ESC key to enter the BIOS setup

Change setting

  • Advanced > AMD CBS > CPU Common Options > CCD/Core/Thread Enablement > SMT Control

    • select: Disabled

  • save & exit
